However, the real reward is the continent’s amazing spirit. Latin Americans seem to approach life with the enthusiasm of an old-fashioned road trip. No matter how bumpy the road; they will continue to cruise through it with a huge smile on their face and some upbeat music blasting out for all to hear. There are as many dances, parties and musical genres as adventures to be had. Panpipes filter through Andean valleys, cumbia pumps out of Colombian cars and salsa gets Venezuelans into a frenzy. South America is a continent that receives you with open arms and engulfs you. So allow yourself to be swept up by its beauty and you will quickly see how it can change your mood and outlook on life.
